China's flame retardant fabrics standard introduction

   Fire every year to our country's human life and property caused huge losses, the use of fireproof fabrics can effectively delay the spread of fire, especially in public places using fireproof fabrics can be spared more people casualties. China's fabric products burning performance requirements are mainly for protective clothing, fabrics used in public places, transport interior decorations proposed. This paper briefly introduces our existing fire prevention standards.

　　1 GB17591-2006 "fireproof fabrics

　　1.1 Scope of application

　　Applicable to decorative, transportation (including aircraft, trains, automobiles and ships) interior decoration, fire protection with woven and knitted fabrics.

　　1.2 Burning performance requirements

　　The standard requirements for fire-resistant fabrics should meet the burning properties of Table 1 requirements.

　　1.3 Marking

　　The standard requirements for the logo are: the instructions for use of each packaging unit should also contain the level of combustion properties such as: fireproof fabric B1 (decorative); fireproof fabric B2 (decorative, washable 20 times); fireproof fabric B2 (automotive interior decoration); fireproof fabric B2 (fire protective clothing, washable 12 times).

　　2.1 Scope of application

　　Suitable for those who are engaged in open flames, emitting sparks, operating near molten metal and flammable substances and the risk of fire to wear fireproof clothing, not applicable to fire rescue fire protective clothing worn in.

2.2 Fire performance requirements

　　Fabric fire resistance is divided into A, B, C three levels, fire performance items and indicators are shown in Table 2. sewing thread fire performance for the test, not melt and scorching phenomenon.
