1. Polyacrylate coating adhesive (PA for short)
Polyacrylate fabric coating adhesive is one of the commonly used coating adhesives, which has the following advantages:
Good fastness to sunlight and climate, not prone to yellowing;
Good transparency and compatibility, which is conducive to the production of colored coating products;
Good washability;
Strong adhesion;
Low cost.
Its disadvantages are:
Poor elasticity, easy to wrinkle;
Poor surface finish;
It is difficult to adjust the handle moderately.
PU coating
The original polyacrylate coating adhesive is a simple waterproof product. Through decades of development, the current variety not only has a variety of functions such as waterproof, moisture permeable, flame retardant, but also has the characteristics of low temperature and energy saving. Polyacrylate coating adhesives are generally copolymerized by hard components (such as methyl acrylate) and soft components (such as butyl acrylate). The main monomers of polyacrylate coating are acrylic acid, methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, etc. In order to improve its waterproof performance, acrylamide and acrylonitrile can be added when necessary, and peroxide (such as potassium persulfate) is generally used as polymerization initiator.
2. POLYURETHANE (PU for short)
Polyurethane, fully known as polyurethane, is a macromolecular compound containing - NHCOO - unit in its molecular structure, which is formed by the reaction of isocyanate group and hydroxyl group, with the reaction formula as follows:
In the 1970s, German OTTOBAYER first synthesized PU. Around 1950, PU appeared in Europe as a textile finishing agent, but most of them were solvent based products used for dry coating finishing. In the 1960s, due to the enhancement of people's awareness of environmental protection and the promulgation of government environmental protection regulations, water system PU coating came into being. After the 1970s, the waterborne PU coating developed rapidly, and the PU coated fabric has been widely used. Since the 1980s, breakthroughs have been made in the research and application of PU. Compared with foreign countries, domestic research on PU textile finishing agent is late.
Polyurethane coating agent is the main type of current development, and its advantages lie in:
The coating is soft and elastic;
The coating has good strength and can be used for very thin coating;
The coating is porous, with moisture permeability and air permeability;
Wear resistant, moisture resistant, dry cleaning resistant.
Its disadvantages lie in:
High cost;
Poor weather resistance;
It shall be hydrolyzed in case of water, heat and alkali.
PU coating agents are classified according to composition: polyester polyurethane; Polyether polyurethane; Aromatic isocyanate polyurethane; Aliphatic isocyanates are polyurethane. According to the medium used, it can be divided into solvent and water system.
·2、 Polyvinyl chloride (PVC coating)
Soft handle, used for luggage, tents, etc
Disadvantages: 1. Polymerized raw material VCM will cause pathological changes of hepatic vascular tumors (the allowable concentration is below 2PPM).
2. PVC contains chlorine. Hydrogen chloride generated after combustion is corrosive. It dissolves in water and becomes hydrochloric acid, which is one of the factors that cause acid rain
The main cause. It is a prohibited material in textile.
